General Information

Qualitative method of data collection is a method that employs unstructured guideline to get an in-depth understanding of human behavior and the reasons that govern such behavior. Qualitative techniques include Focused Group Discussion (FGD), In-depth interview (IDI) and Ethnography. These are most common techniques in social and marketing research.

To accommodate the need of qualitative research, our office is equipped with a qualitative room that can be used for FGD or IDI. It is a room with one-way mirror, audio-video recording, and simultaneous translation devices. Client can observed the interview from the other side of the room.

Our qualitative room is also equipped with washbasin and mirror that can be used for observing how respondents wash their hands or face. This is suitable for cosmetics or toiletries product/concept testing.

During the group, client can communicate with moderator using online chatting platform (skype, YM, etc) to minimize interruption of the group.

Room Capacity and Schedule

Our qualitative room can be used for 6-8 respondents group, or individual IDI session. We can arrange table and chair setup or carpet setup where respondent can sit convenience using seat cushion.

While the observation room can fit up to 8 clients. you can set up this place as class room for more seats or meeting room with table that enable your team to do wrap up summary right after the group without moving to the other room.
